Your Basic Chia pudding

Chia 2 ways

Left:

On the left is a chia and coconut water mixture that is a staple in my refrigerator. I often use the gel like consistency to either add to my smoothies, mix into my morning yogurt, use as a binder for cooking in replace of egg whites and most of the time I eat it straight from the jar. (If you do not like the taste of coconut water then this isn’t for you.)

1/3 cup of Chia seeds to 1 1/2 cup of coconut water. I shake until I see that all of the chia seeds have been dunked under water as they tend to float on top. Leave this overnight and it will be ready to go in the morning.

Right:

On the right side I have an almond milk, chia seed and honey mix which I primarily use for breakfast. Often I will mix it into my oatmeal, yogurt or eat it straight with added toppings. Fresh fruit and nuts is a great addition. Same measurements as above 1/3 cup of chia seeds to 1 1/2 cups of the milk of your choice and 1 Tbsp of Pure Maple Honey

You can replace the Almond milk for Soy milk, Rice milk or for an even creamier consistency try Coconut milk. I absolutely love coconut milk!
