For the next 21 days, join us in replacing 1 of your meals with one of these scrumptious smoothies listed below. We personally love to start the day with a smoothie! We have 7 listed for the 7 days of the week so check out our shopping list and hit the grocery store because we are going to have a groovy smoothie good time!!!
Next week will be a list of new smoothie recipes so keep coming back for more. We are so super pumped to get started and hope you are too!! LET’S GO!
Shopping list for this weeks juices/smoothies
3 Green apples or apple of your choice
2 bags of fresh spinach (Wegmans sells a large plastic container which is great!)
1 small bunch of celery
1 Avocado (since we are not using this until the end of the week, grab one that is more firm and green than black and soft)
1 Cucumber
1 bunch of bananas
Chia seeds
Cacao powder
Almond butter
Unsweetened Almond milk
1 bag of frozen pineapple chunks
1 bag of frozen strawberries
Coconut water (optional, you can use regular water too)
Day 1
Irish You Were Here
1/2 green apple, seeded
1 1/4 cup spinach
1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 banana
1 cup of coconut water
2 ice cubes
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and drink right away!
Day 2
The Hangover
1 large, ripe banana
1 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp of almond butter
2 tbsp of chia seeds
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and drink right away!
Day 3
Morning Glory
1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 banana, ripe
1 cup of spinach
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and drink right away!
Day 4
The Sweet Start of Spring
1/2 cup of water
1/2 of a cucumber, peeled and chopped
1 cup of spinach
1 cup of frozen strawberries
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and drink right away!
Day 5
Chocolate covered Strawberry
2 tbsp of cacao powder
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp of chia seeds
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and drink right away!
Day 6
The Mean Green
1/2 cucumber
1/2 avocado, ripe (remove the nut and peel the other 1/2, place in ziploc bag and into the freezer for tomorrow)
1 celery stalk
1 banana
1 green apple, seeded
1 cup of coconut water
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and drink right away!
Day 7
Coo Coo for Cacao
1 cup of spinach
1 Tbsp of chia seeds
1 Tbsp of cacao (powder or nibs)
1 apple, seeded
1 large, ripe banana
1/2 avocado (in freezer from yesterday)
1 cup of coconut water
Place all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and drink right away!

Great recipies! Ever use ground flaxseed in your smoothies?

Hi Kerry! Yes we use ground flaxseed often. We decided not to add it to this weeks smoothies since the cost of the chia seeds alone can be pricey. You will see flaxseed added at some point. 🙂
