Banana Oatmeal



1 1/2 cup of almond milk (you can use water or organic whole milk)
1/4 cup of Steel cut oats (you can also used rolled oats or old fashion oats)
1 banana, sliced
Himalayan salt


In a small saucepan bring milk and a pinch of salt to a simmer on medium heat. Once the bubbles start forming around the sides, add your oats and banana.
Using a plastic spatula, continuously mix until the the consistency is thick and oatmeal like’.
Place in a bowl and add a couple of dashes of cinnamon.

You can also add raisins, nuts, granola etc. Below is an oatmeal I had the other morning, made the same way but I added walnuts, granola and raisins.
